STRIVE is built around two physical therapists with a shared commitment to neurological rehabilitation, individualized clinical reasoning, and meaningful long-term recovery. Gabrielle continues to lead the physical therapy team, with Joshua supporting care across stroke, brain injury, vestibular, and broader neuro rehab needs.
A two-therapist team built around neurological physical therapy, with Gabrielle leading clinical care and Joshua supporting STRIVE's stroke, vestibular, brain injury, and neuro wellness work.
Dr. Gabrielle PT DPT is a physical therapist with a passion for restoring function and independence in clients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions. After earning a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy degree from University of Santo Tomas, she pursued her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, and is a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist.
Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practice — combining task-specific training, intensive repetition, and a genuine belief that the nervous system retains the capacity to adapt at every stage of recovery. She has special interest in Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation, use of Pilates-based exercises in Physical Therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation.
"Recovery is not a destination — it's a daily practice. My job is to build the environment, the structure, and the belief that makes that practice possible for every client I work with."
— Dr. Gabrielle PT DPTEvery session is built on a documented clinical rationale, not a generic protocol. Treatment is delivered 1-on-1 with 50+ minutes of focused care, giving us the time to assess, hypothesize, intervene, and reassess without rushing the session.
We don't believe in staying comfortable. Recovery demands progressive challenge — in load, complexity, and environment. We build that progression deliberately and track it session by session.
Traditional PT ends at discharge. STRIVE is built for what comes next — ongoing wellness programming, community reintegration, and the strength to keep improving beyond the episode of care.
Dr. Joshua Lopez PT DPT brings a neurological rehab focus to STRIVE, with experience across stroke, brain injury, FND, post-amputation rehab, vestibular concerns, and spinal cord injury. He also works full time as a physical therapist with NCEP, a Las Vegas non-profit focused on comprehensive rehabilitation for people living with brain injury. After graduating from University of Santo Tomas and Arcadia University, he completed post-graduate training in stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, and a year of chest physiotherapy training in the Philippines for patients recovering from pulmonary surgery and tuberculosis.
His treatment philosophy centers on autonomy, helping clients understand their condition and build a rehab process they can carry into daily life. That same perspective shapes STRIVE's neuro wellness programming and the digital tools he created, including the money management app and VO app.
"Repetition is what turns progress from something occasional into something dependable. My role is to build the right environment so that work translates into daily life."
